Our prices include bed, full-board, wine, workshops and one-to-ones. They can’t be beat!
Week 1: €695, or book before March 1st for an early bird price of €635.
Week 2: €565, or book before Mar 1st for an early bird price of €535.
In order to hold your place, La Macchina Fissa will take a non-refundable deposit of €330. The balance of the fees will be due to The Reader Berlin by May 1st. Once paid, fees are non-refundable except in the event of our cancellation.
If you’re really keen to take your writing to the next level, why not stay for both retreats? The early bird cost is €1200 (this involves an extra night at La Macchina Fissa, during the changeover between weeks 1 and 2), full price €1300.

Included:
Full board – three meals a day with wine served in the evening. Accommodation is based on two sharing in a twin room. If you’d like your own room, there’s a single supplement of €200 per week (limited availability). You can book with a friend and we’ll put you in a room together, or we’ll match you with someone nice.
Individual mentoring sessions with Jane and Victoria (one with each tutor per participant, per week).
Workshops with Jane and Victoria (see programme details – weeks 1 and 2 differ). All sessions are suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced writers.
Various evening events, including a reading for participants to share their work.
Not Included:
Airfares (the current cheapest return flight is just €70!)
Beer, fizzy drinks, snacks – but there is a shop a 20 minute walk away if you are overcome by cravings!
